Nyles Lannon has been bouncing around the San Francisco music scene since the early 2000’s.
He has released a collection of critically acclaimed solo albums, mostly in the singer/songwriter, indie rock vein. His work with the band Film School usually fits into the shimmery, atmospheric world of shoegaze and dream pop.
Recently he released an album with his son, a project they call Nyte Skye, and toured up and down the west coast in 2023.
Lannon’s music has been used in hundreds of commercials, everything from Chevy, Lexus and Honda to Microsoft, Dell, Intel, Home Depot, Southwest Airlines, you name it. His music is also all over TV shows, including Shameless, Barry, Bojack Horseman, Coldcase, New Amsterdam, Ginny and Georgia, SNL, NFL, Nascar, CNN….over 60 shows and counting.
